Brand X were famous for trashing the place, whatever the place happened to be, but the band did it in style:
Robin was attracted to explosives and glue. Crazy glue.
While mixing at Trident Studios, he would play a game of pouring a carefully laid-out track of odourless flamable fluid on top of the mixing desk, and on cue, the band would call the technical staff over from down the hall.
When they entered the room, they'd see flames shooting up from the board and run over to put the fire out, confused.
They kept falling for it...
An executive from Passport Records once visited the band in Hit & Run's London offices: while he was pontificating about how to make better and more commercial music, he didn't notice we were crazy gluing his briefcase to the floor.
When he finally picked it up to leave, the briefcase ripped open with its bottom half still hugging the ground.
